Partners In Leadership LLC, the firm that guides clients in defining Key Results™, shaping Cultural Beliefs® and solving Accountability Gaps, chose to spend part of its annual holiday party shopping for needed items to donate to the Random Acts of Kindness Alliance (RAKA). The culture management firm donated gifts, toys, and other needed goods to RAKA, which will be distributed to local Temecula charities. Employees will also be volunteering at RAKA’s “Give Back Day” on December 14.

“I am so grateful to join forces with Partners In Leadership once again for our annual RAKA Give Back Day. Their contribution will help many people in need,” said Shawn Sorensen, Founder of RAKA. “It’s so heartwarming to watch kindness ripple throughout the community. I love how so many people come together just to spread joy.”

Random Acts of Kindness Alliance was born five years ago when Murrieta resident and business owner Shawn Sorensen decided she no longer wanted to spend thousands of dollars hosting a fancy holiday party for her employees. Sorensen, the owner of Exit Alliance Realty, decided she would instead put her money and efforts toward a better purpose: giving back to the community.

RAKA acts as the central hub for collecting donated goods and distributes them to local participating charities. Since its inception, this group has served the homeless community, families dealing with domestic violence, foster children, animal shelters, veterans, first responders, caregivers, countless strangers, and more.

For a second consecutive year, 60 of Partners In Leadership’s home office employees received a list of items and toys needed to brighten up the holiday season of local community members. They shopped until they crossed off the whole list. Their donations will help a family of four whose mother is battling cancer and father is scheduled to lose his job, as well as 11 children of very low-income families who would otherwise not receive gifts this holiday season. Employees continue to donate items needed to aid the homeless, military caregivers, animal shelters, and mental health charities before the holiday season is over.

“RAKA’s vision proves that giving encourages a culture of giving,” said Brent Barton, President and CEO of Partners In Leadership. “Giving back to our community has been a part of our annual holiday tradition. We’re proud to support RAKA again this year to spread kindness in our community.”
